Only a little boy like my brother would think of turning a big sister into a car. He used her arm as a stickshift, the gas pedal, and the brakes all in one. Quite impressive, if you ask me.
Today has been rather mundane and ordinary. I've been reading Five Little Pigs (or Murder In Retrospect ) by Agatha Christie. It's a medium-sized yellow paperback, so it just feels so different, as most of the Agatha Christies I've read have been small paperbacks or black hardcovers (my favorites! They're just perfect for respectable murder mysteries. Paperback whodunnit novels aren't quite so respectable-seeming.)
My sister and I have been watching The Music Man (1962). I liked the movie and the music a lot more than I thought I would. Our favorite?
Oh, we got trouble!

Naw, not disappointing. At least you are consistent with posting. I've only recently gotten back into the posting. I think scheduling should work better for me. Anyway....
I've never read Agatha Christies, but they sound interesting! I've watched a few of them on TV, and they were all really good. One I recently saw was a Miss Marple one on PBS. I only saw the last part though, but it was really good. :(
I don't think I've seen the old Music Man. But I have seen a kids version of it on stage. It was pretty cool; they did a good job of it. :)
Hey, I LIKE reading your ordinary everyday things...I know they don't tend to get as many comments, so it's hard to guage if people really like them...but I like getting to know you. I think we would be good friends if we ever got to actually meet each other...
I'm so glad you're enjoying Music Man! I love that movie! One of the girls that I nanny did "Marion the Librarian" in her dance recitel...so cute!
BB- I like Miss Marple! :) The one I just finished was Hercule Poirot, who I also like. He's obsessed with making his mustache perfect, and is absolutely shocked when a person is unimpressed with or *GASP* has never heard of Hercule Poirot! And I like Miss Marple because she can pretend to be a dotty old lady in the mood for some gossip, while really she's trying to solve a murder.

Oh! That would be so adorable! That song made me laugh. Shirley Jones is really cute in that role. But now I'm going to have the song stuck in my head. "Ma-rion, Madame libra-rian."
But it's such a cool song! And so helpful when you want to make clever referances in a story that has a librarian in it...
I love Agathe Christie too! Although sometimes there can be a hint of...I don't know, the morbid? Darkness? In some of her stories. Probably the later ones. And Then There Were None is brillant...but oh so chilling...
I love And Then There Were None, even though it's so depressing... :P I also love They Came to Baghdad - have you read that one?
